Bill has emerged as a seasoned and experienced banker, and a well known business and community leader during his 34 year tenure in the financial industry.

 

Bill has closed multiple transactions in Investment Banking and Capital Markets while covering Retail, Commercial and Institutional Banking, Global Markets and Investment Management. He was also the Head of the global operations for Singapore United Overseas Banking (UOB) Group for 8 years. Bill is the Chairman of the Board Audit Committee of the Defense Science Technology Agency, a statutory board of the Ministry of Defense, Singapore. He is also the Chairman of the Risk & Audit Committees of Singapore Technologies Electronics Limited and Singapore Technologies Kinetics Limited. Today, he remains on the Investment Committees of SAFRA National Service Association and the Singapore University of Technology and Design. Bill was head of Global Financial Institutions Group at UOB until November 2014.

 

For his contributions to the government and the community, Bill was conferred the Public Service Medal in 2004, and the Public Service Star in 2012 by the Government of Singapore.
