Thomas Ladner, attorney at law, is an investor and an entrepreneur. He co-founded a number of tech and financial services businesses, two of which went public. Today, Thomas sits on the board of more than a dozen companies ranging from biotech and blockchain start-ups to mature companies in the investment, trading, construction, and service industries.

Thomas started his legal career with the law firm Homburger before joining MLL Meyerlustenberger Lachenal Froriep as their youngest Partner, specializing in private equity and M&A. The leading Swiss business publication Bilanz described him as one of Switzerland’s “most influential business lawyers“.

 

Thomas is passionate about creating communities of thought and business leaders. He is the founding chairman of the Entrepreneurs‘ Roundtable (www.e-r-t.org) with country chapters in Switzerland, Germany, France, the Netherlands and Poland. He was also the founding chairman of World.Minds Foundation (www.worldminds.com) and of the Club zum Rennweg in Zurich (www.clubzumrennweg.ch).

 

He holds a Ph.D. („Dr. iur.“) from the University of St. Gallen HSG.
